Windows Mobile 7 dan Office Mobile 7 Siap Hadir di 2010?

Robbie Bach, president divisi entertainment dan device Microsoft, minggu lalu telah memberikan detail lebih spesifik soal tanggal peluncuran Office 2010. Software Office 2010 akan hadir dengan 5 versi yang dapat dibeli untuk system Windows, Office Web Apps untuk desktop dan browser mobile, dan Office Starter 2010 yang hadir secara gratis untuk PC, dan yang terakhir adalah Office Mobile 2010.


Software ponsel Office Mobile 2010 ini menurut Microsoft akan menjadi Office Mobile 7, yang akan hadir tepat ketika Windows Mobile 7 masuk ke versi RTM di tahun 2010. Lebih jauh lagi, Office Mobile 7 tersebut akan support juga dengan SharePoint Mobile, namun tidak termasuk Outlook Mobile. Sebelumnya, Microsoft Office Mobile pertama kali dirilis September 2007 sebagai bagian Office 2007 (atau Office Mobile 6.1), termasuk Word Mobile, Excel Mobile, PowerPoint Mobile, OneNote Mobile, dan Outlook Mobile.

Software Office Mobile sendiri merupakan Microsoft Office untuk device Windows Mobile yang simple. Namun, sebelum Office Mobile ini, Microsoft pernah bekerja sama dengan Nokia untuk membawa Office Communicator Mobile, Office Mobile, SharePoint Server, dan System Center untuk Symbian.
